Zenith Carburetor Identification

Check for the part number on the metal indentification disc which is pinned or riveted to the top of the air intake or float bowl cover. On some models the number will be stamped directly into the surface in this same location. The inside number, as shown in the illustration, is the Zenith assembly number, which is what we need to cross a rebuild kit. The other number, along the outer edge, is the vehicle manufacturer’s part number for the assembly, we can not cross this number.

The ID number will most commonly be 4-5 numbers followed by a letter.
