Tips:
- Take lots of photos as you diassemble your carburetor. Schematics are generic and may not have all of the details you need to reassemble.
- Do not throw any parts away until your carb is reassembled and tested
- Soak components in Berryman’s Chem Dip or Simple Green Aviation formula (follow manufacturer recs)
- Clean tubes and small passages with a nylon brush. Soaking and compressed air won’t always clear ethanol deposits and residue.
- We don’t recommend taking the throttle shaft and choke shaft apart unless rebushing is necessary.
