This is the metering body vent baffle (number 37). The 2 holes slip over two pins.
Side-hung float in a secondary bowl shows float (1), adjustable needle and seat (2), adjusting nut (3), lock screw (4), plastic baffle (5) float bumper spring (6), sight plug (7), transfter tube hole (8).
Baffle (4): directs inlet fuel and contains froth
Site plug (7): allows for external fuel level checking
Transfer tube hole (8): brings fuel to the secondary bowl from inlet on primary bowl.
