IDENTIFICATION

Holley carburetors all came with an identification tag, typically under one of the bowl screw. Most Holley carbs are also stamped with the ID number.

ID numbers are in a R-xxxx or LIST xxxx-x format.

Anything that starts with a 6R, 12R, 2R, etc. are casting codes and will not cross kits or parts.

Some Holley carburetors will also have Ford Motorcraft numbers, either one can be used. These would look something like D4ZF-9510-BA (in some cases the 9510 is not included)
