Below you will see an illustration of where all the check balls go on this Ford 1 barrel carburetor. #25 and #26 is the check ball and check weight combination. The other check balls are #27, #28 & #29. Note that very few 1100 carburetor use all 4 check balls.
One type of the 1100 will need 4 check balls. This carburetor would have a dashpot (see #40 & #41) and the check ball is illustrated by #28. Otherwise only 3 check balls are used.
