We have 4 different carburetor kits that cover all of the Motorcraft 2100 carburetors. For best results match your carburetor number. This will insure the correct carburetor kit. The carburetor number for the 2100 carburetor is stamped on a tag which is attached to the top of the carburetor. When your tag is misisng, then the only other alternative is to match up your carburetor parts with the parts pictured in each kit.
Hints to help you determine the correct kit:
- K6106 fits the fits the ealiest models and uses an accelerator pump with a long stem.
- K4170 fits the latest model 2100 and earliest model 2150 carbs. The flange gasket is 1/4” and fits inside an insulator plate that is required to bolt the carb to the manifold.
- K4128 and K4008 fit the most common, midrange 2100 carbs. The easier identifier between these two kits is the flange gasket shape, and bowl gasket cutouts.

- The choke pulldown is the only difference.
- Will this kit fit my 2100?
- Only if your carburetor uses the K4008 kit.
- Do I still need to order the regular kit?
- Yes. These are an “upgrade” to the standard rebuild kit. You will need to order both the basic K4008 rebuild kit and the PK kit.
