AIR VALVE ROD ADJUSTMENT (4 CYLINDER)
- Seat vaccum diaphragm using outside vacuum source (see note)
- Air valve completely closed
- Place gauge between rod and end of slot in plunger
- Bend for specified clearance between rod and end of slot in plunger
- NOTE: plug end cover with tape if purge bleed hole is used. Remove tape after adjustment

AIR VALVE ROD ADJUSTMENT (6 CYLINDER)
- Seat vacuum diaphragm using outside vacuum source
- Air valve completely closed
- Place gauge between rod and end of slot in lever
- Bend for specified clearance between rod and end of slot in lever

PRIMARY SIDE VACUUM BREAK ADJUSTMENT (TYPICAL)
- Use choke valve measuring gauge if you have one. Tool may be used with carburetor on or off engine. If off engine, place carburetor on holding fixture so taht it will remain in same position when gauge is in place
- Rotate degree scare until zero is opposite pointer
- With choke valve completely closed, place magnet squarely on top of choke valve
- Rotate bubble until it is centered
- Rotate scale so that degree specified for adjustment is opposite pointer
- Seat choke vacuum diaphragm using vacuum source
